Hear It See It Music
is designed to give you
independent control of your
audio playback (Hear it)
and
display (See it).
When you select a title (Music to Hear and See - SAMPLES)
two sections are displayed
within your web browser's window,
the upper section and the lower section.
The upper section contains musical notation (pdf format - Acrobat Reader), the lower section contains audio playback controls (Flash format - Adobe Flash Player).
Plugins for these formats are most likely already installed on your system (if not, see 'Troubleshooting' below).
You may need to review the operation / configuration of your Acrobat Reader plugin for best viewing results.
Your web browser has an option to 'Zoom' found in the View menu.
Your web browser's Help menu will direct you to more information about your web browser's Zoom option.
Most web browsers have "shortcut keys" to aid in using the Zoom feature.
These "shortcut keys" can be found in the View menu (next to 'Zoom').
Audio Playback Controls
The toggle icon on the left supplies the play/pause function (mouse click).
When the audio playback reaches the end, the icon will automatically switch to pause;
to resume playback from the beginning, use the toggle icon.
The long section in the middle is the scrubber bar;
When your mouse pointer is directly above the scrubber bar, the position of the pointer is displayed
(left click to go to that position).
[Relative positions of the audio playback are displayed on the upper left of every musical staff in the upper section.
Time format: XX:XX = minutes:seconds]
On the right you will see a time display.
The first time displayed is the current position of the audio playback,
the second time displayed is the total length of the recording.
The speaker icon (toggle) turns the audio on/off.
The mini scrubber bar controls the volume.
The square box controls the "full screen" option of the audio controls
(you will likely never need to use this option).
